EXECUTIVE BOARD
HEAD OF IP

Arianna is an incoming freshman at the University of Warwick, and has been in the MUN circuit for a few years serving in the capacity of delegate, IP reporter, EB member and secretariat. She’s fascinated by the interdisciplinary nature of Economics, and when she isn’t annoying her friends by never shutting up, she’s probably bingeing obscure horror movies or updating her tier list of teas. She is as loud as she is reliable (extremely) and is only at her most peaceful when writing or indulging in a novel. Her other creative pursuits include singing, doing Odissi and expanding her (self-proclaimed) eclectic music taste.

EDITOR IN CHIEF

Ishita Venigalla is a 12th-grade student at P. Obulreddy Public School, currently mastering the delicate art of balancing ambition, last-minute assignments, and her unwavering loyalty to the concept of kwan (if you know, you definitely know). A writer by instinct and a speaker by passion, Ishita has a flair for storytelling, whether it’s on paper, behind a mic, or in her head at 2 a.m. while trying to fall asleep. She's a firm believer in the idea that words can change worlds and thrives where arguments are sharp and perspectives sharper, making her a natural fit for the Intellectual Press.
Her love for debate is only rivalled by her obsession with storytelling, whether it’s through an essay, a chaotic group chat, or a Google Doc she swears she’ll finish editing “tonight.” Ishita is the kind of person who reads fantasy novels like they’re gospel, binge-watches courtroom dramas like life itself depends on it, and still finds time to spiral over plot twists at 1 a.m. like it's a full-time job. She's got playlists for every mood, takes Tollywood bangers very personally, and insists that 2010s music peaked and it’s been downhill ever since. Cool-headed (except when she's not), full of quips, and always down for a new challenge, Ishita can't wait to make SMIS a wonderful experience!

Akshita Nandivada is a fresh high school graduate looking to pursue further education in Business. During her school-college break, she’s keeping herself busy working towards organising Harvard MUN India 2025. Besides having quite a few MUNs under her belt as both delegate and IP over the last few years, she’s approachable, dedicated, and is always up to explore new places. Discovering the role of the International Press a couple of years ago sparked her own journey into photojournalism within conferences. Her keen eye for detail has become indispensable in her design and visual work. She’s excited to attend SMISMUN with a fresh set of eyes and quite eager to meet all of you at the conference!
